oxhey jets awarded charter status
Oxhey Jets have been awarded Charter status by the F.A. This is a fine achievement for the Club and a recognition of the time and effort that has been made by everybody involved with the Club to raise our standards and professionalism.

The FA Charter Standard Clubs programme, supported by FA Community Partner McDonald's, was launched in February 2001 and is a core component of The FA Football Development programme
The project is aimed at all clubs outside the Football League and Premier League, helping players, children and parents to find a club in their local area that meets FA standards.Ken Headingley of the Herts FA said that he was delighted that Oxhey Jets had reached the required standard and that the FA were able to approve chartered status for the Club.
The Criteria for chartered status includes: -

FA CRB checked volunteers

All managers to have minimum of FA Level 1 Coaching Course
*
Commitment to attend in-service training

Acceptance and promotion of Codes of Conduct
*
Commitment to provide Mini-Soccer opportunities for Under 10s
*
Commitment to promote schools liaison and equal opportunities for allBeing a chartered status club gives us a number of opportunities and helps the Club in applying for funding and support for future growth. Benefits include use of the charter standard crest, umbro Kit and Equipment grants, National & Regional awards, and access to FA McDonald's coaching awards.
