Martin Togher, or "Todge" as he was known in the club, worked his way up through the youth teams, and then, as a 17 year old progessed to play for the Senior teams for 3 years between 1999-2001. He was alwayd a committed player at the club, and the Jets were sorry to see him leave, but obviously delighted that he got such a good opportunity to develop his education and coaching skills in the United States.
John Elliott, Jets GM said "We are delighted that Martin has achieved what he has and it is no surprise to us at Jets that he has done so well. If Martin can get one of his teams over here, we would be delighted to organise a fixture against them".
